Rawlings Library Renovation Update
Good morning, PCCLD,
I am writing to all employees here with an update regarding the Rawlings Library renovation project.
Temporary CSR Positions Available (Full-Time)
The Pueblo City-County Library District is seeking two temporary, full-time, 40 hours per week Customer Service Representatives to serve at our Rawlings library! These positions will serve through the end of 2022. Please use the Internal Job Postings link on the Portal if you are interested.
Larry Ritchie
This patron has been suspended from all library locations. There is a restraining order in place for all library locations. This patron is dangerous. Call the police immediately as per the Sherrif office's request if seen in or on library property.
He is not eligible for reinstatement.
Three great authors, one outstanding All Pueblo Reads
PUEBLO, Colo. — An internationally bestselling writer, an award-winning poet and a children’s book author are the featured writers for Pueblo City-County Library District’s (PCCLD) annual literacy project.
Unknown Male (Lamb)
This patron has been reinstated. The patron has served the suspension period. All patrons eligible by 12/2023 are being reinstated.
This patron has been suspended from all PCCLD locations for one month. He is eligible for reinstatement on 09/22/2022.
Farewell to Robert Childress
Robert Childress, IT Director, has departed from PCCLD after a three year tenure. We wish Robert the best in his future endeavors.
Mark Gonzales will serve in the role of Interim IT Director. Please contact Mark Gonzales with any escalated IT issues that arise.
Unknown Female (Lamb) Door
This patron has been reinstated. The patron has served the suspension period. All patrons eligible by 12/2023 are being reinstated.
This unknown female has been suspended from all PCCLD locations for one year. She is eligible for reinstatement on 08/30/2023.
Jose Casas (Rawlings)(Lamb) AKA "Poppy"
Jose Casas has been suspended from all PCCLD locations for multiple codes of conduct violations. He is cited for assault, disturbance, harassment, threatening, and trespassing. If he is seen on library property ask him to leave immediately. If the patron refuses to leave library property, contact the Pueblo Police Department's non-emergency dispatch line to have him trespassed.
He is eligible for reinstatement on 11/21/2025.
Farewell to Hannah Plummer and Kirsten Dees
Hannah Plummer, MHT in the Special Collections department, is departing PCCLD at the end of the month for a full-time opportunity. We wish Hannah well on her opportunity!
Kirsten Dees, Early Literacy Librarian, will be leaving the library district as she is moving out of state.
