Barkman and Lucero Libraries' Design Charrettes

Good afternoon, The Barkman and Lucero Libraries renovation and expansion projects will begin their design phase soon. HBM Architects has been selected via a competitive process to oversee design work (https://www.hbmarchitects.com/). There will be a series of design charrettes occurring next week to help kick off things. These meetings will be facilitated by the architectural design team. See the attached information sheets for more information about the design charrettes. Seating at each of these design charrettes is limited so please reference the RSVP options included on the attached information sheets if you or someone you know is interested in attending. These are great opportunities for stakeholder input into the projects. Construction on these will not begin to occur until later next year well after the Rawlings Library renovation is completed, and these early design discussions are important to help inform the final outcome.
