IT is still addressing various issues with our self checks. Attached is a current list of Self-Checks and the issues IT is aware of. If you are getting reports from patrons of issues that IT is not aware, I encourage you to report them to both IT as well as your Managers.

We regret to announce that Jonathan Butler will be leaving PCCLD to pursue other opportunities. Jonathan has worked at the library district for about 5 years, most recently as a Customer Service Representative in Circulation. Jonathan's last day will be Friday, August 4th.

Just a reminder that according to our Rules of Conduct, service animals are allowed in the library.  But you might be confused about how to know if an animal is a service animal or not, and what to do?

Do you ever think it's a weird combination to serve lunch to kids at the library?  The librarians of my childhood would remind us to wipe our faces after we took a drink from the splashy drinking fountain so we wouldn't drip water on the books.
