Jon Dagenais, MHT at Lamb, and Pam Anderson, MHT at Greenhorn Valley, will be leaving the Library District next week. We wish them both the best in their new journey! We have two Materials Handling Technician positions posted on the website. Each position is a 20 hour per week position.

An unknown male patron has been suspended for a period of 6 months from all PCCLD locations. Please be advised this individual has the propensity for violence and aggressive behaviors. He has been suspended for displaying offensive behaviors, harassment/threatening, refusing to leave library premises, and vandalism. Refer to the incident report submitted on Thursday, September 16, 2021 - 7:16 pm. Eligible for reinstatement 03/17/2022

Brian Sanchez

Brian Sanchez (Verbal ID) has been suspended for one month from all PCCLD locations. He has displayed inappropriate behavior repeatedly in the Barkman Library. Mr. Sanchez has been provided several opportunities to improve/correct behavior. He has verbally and physically demonstrated an unwillingness to comply. Mr. Sanchez is eligible for reinstatement on 10/10/2021. Eligible for reinstatement on 10/10/21.

Please join me in welcoming two new employees to PCCLD! Sandy Hudock is joining PCCLD as Librarian/Assistant Branch Manager at the Giodone library. Sandy will replace Paula Pryich as Paula retires. Sandy holds an MS degree in Library Science and an MA degree in English.

COVID-19 UPDATE: September 10 2021

PCCLD modified its COVID-19 protocols on September 1 to require masks over the nose and mouth for everyone inside libraries. This currently includes all staff and members of the general public who are 2 years and older.
