I recently had the good fortune to work on a project in a remote village in Guatemala helping build a new community library there.  I learned many things while working in Guatemala, among these is that what we take for granted here in our community can be a rare luxury and privilege elsewhere.
Guatemala is an historically rich area, where the indigenous Mayan civilization dates back more than two-thousand years with a written record, sophisticated astronomy, mathematics and construction techniques.

More than 150 library supporters gathered at three Pueblo Library Foundation fundraisers this week.

Today was the final day for Books in the Park, 2014 - and we had a very fun summer!  I just wanted to share some key results and some info about who made this program a huge success!

Jacob Rogers is suspended for stealing a book. He has been ticketed by the police dept.

Nadine Vigil is part of a Mother/Son conspiracy; George Vigil is the son. They have stolen many video games from the hold shelves from lamb, PW and Barkman. The latest theft occurred at Barkman on July 24, 2014.
7/3/2015 – Suspension extended for violating the terms of her suspension at Giodone

access to all libraries.

Good morning, all! We have recently undergone an upgrade of E-Requester, and although it looks very much like the old version, there are just a couple of updates we want to bring to your attention: 1.

Everyone is doing an amazing job on our Key Results. Midway through the year, PCCLD is on track to exceed annual goals for each of our four Key Results. For circulation, we stand at 1,073,260 through June 30. At the current pace we could easily surpass two million checkouts in 2014.

A project to define a customer service model for PCCLD is just beginning.
