Food security is an issue for many of our young patrons, and PCCLD is happy to partner with D60 to get food to the youth who need it. Attached is the 2018 schedule of lunches by location - note that there will be lunches at Rawlings, Barkman and Lamb as well as Books in the Park.

Summer Reading is so close! I am very excited to share this sneak peek of our medal. The medal is the final prize for youth who complete at least one board in June and one in July. Many of our young patrons collect these medals year after year and treasure them.

Read Out Loud April 25-26 With James Burks

Read Out Loud will begin tomorrow and end on Thursday. Thousands of 2nd-5th graders will be visiting the Rawlings Library to see James Burks. He is the author and illustrator of several books. We will be featuring Bird and Squirrel a graphic novel series about friendship.
