We are pleased to welcome Andrew Ortiz, new part-time Security Officer, to PCCLD! Andrew joins us with six years of security experience. He will be primarily stationed at the Rawlings branch in the evenings. Welcome Andrew!

Educational experiences - like museum visits, camps, trips to the zoo, art classes, etc. - aren't just fun. They provide children with something vital - background knowledge. Background knowledge provides children the foundation to understand what they read and study.

Enjoys customer service, has experience with working in another small library, sorting & stacking books, childrens story time, assisting elderly patrons, ect. Has a Bachelors Degree. Really enjoys spending time in the library most weeks already.

Would like: Tutoring/reading Skills: Writer, paasionate/adament about helping give others the fit of reading, English major in college, have taught all age of students

Ernest Gallegos DOB: 03/09/1956 has been suspended for public intoxication while on library property and creating a disturbance.  On 11/29/2018 Gallegos was intoxicated on the property, disturbing patrons, and refusing to leave while under suspension. Gallegos is suspended for one year due to activity while currently under suspension. Eligible for reinstatement on 11/29/2019.
