Chris Rasmussan is suspended for 6 months for harassment and threats to staff. Rasmussan has been trespassed by Pueblo Police Department. Rasmussan was on Barkman property in violation of his suspension on 01/27/2020. THIS PATRON IS SUSPENDED INDEFINITELY CALL POLICE IF SEEN ON PCCLD PROPERTY

Aaron Ameck

Aaron Ameck is suspended for 6 months for theft at Pueblo West library. Took item from another patron without consent. Ameck is eligible for reinstatement on 12/14/2019. Ameck was at Pueblo West library and made a threat. This is in violation of his suspension and trespass. This incident occurred on 07/08/2019. Ameck will be suspended an additional 3 months for this violation moving his eligibility for reinstatement to 03/14/2020.

Bailey Burns

Bailey Burns is suspended for 6 months for threatening another patron with a weapon (knife) at Pueblo West library. Burns is eligible fro reinstatement on 12/21/2019. This patron has been reinstated. Mr. Burns has served his suspension term plus additional time without further occurrences/incidents. 02/22/2022

Goodbye to Maria Tucker

Maria Tucker will be leaving PCCLD in mid-July. Maria is currently the Manager of Special Collections and Museum Services and has been with the library district for 11 years. She has accepted the position of Director of the El Pueblo History Museum.

Our summer is fully underway and it's finally warm! During the summer months, we need to be especially concerned about protecting our skin from the sun. An estimated one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. While it’s true that fair-skinned people who sunburn easily are at the highest risk, anyone can get skin cancer, no matter their skin tone.Please see the attached information from Cigna that outlines different types of skin cancer and what to look out for.
