Shedding Light on Skin Cancer
Our summer is fully underway and it's finally warm! During the summer months, we need to be especially concerned about protecting our skin from the sun. An estimated one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. While it’s true that fair-skinned people who sunburn easily are at the highest risk, anyone can get skin cancer, no matter their skin tone.Please see the attached information from Cigna that outlines different types of skin cancer and what to look out for.
Farewell to Jeanette
Jeanette Cortez will be leaving PCCLD in July. Jeanette has been with PCCLD for 4 and 1/2 years and most recently is the Senior Accountant in the Finance department.

Michael Piazza
Michael Piazza is suspended for 6 months for disturbance and threatening staff. Piazza will be eligible for reinstatement on 12/14/2019.
Piazza was at Lamb library on 09/28/2019 in violation of his suspension.
Piazza was on Lamb property again on 09/10/2020 in violation of his suspension. Piazza suspension will be extended 12 months with his reinstatement eligible 09/10/2021.
