Ellis Belfer

Ellis Belfer is reinstated 10-15-2019; he was suspended for make threats to security. Beller is suspended for 1 month and will be eligible for reinstatement on 09/20/2019. Mr. Belfer called and left a message for Jon Walker on 9-16-2019 regarding his suspension. Mr. Belfer notified Pueblo Fire Department of a code violation at Rawlings concerning doors to the youth services area. Code enforcement showed up and no violations were found. Belfer has been reinstated as of 10/15/2019.

Peter Russel Benavidez

Peter Benavidez was seen on camera taking Bree Pappan's cell phone off her desk. Benavidez then left the library with the phone. Benavidez is suspended for 6 months for theft. Benavidez is eligible for reinstatement on 02/29/2020. This patron is eligible for reinstatement. Mr. Benavidez is required to meet the PCCLD Security Supervisor or designee for reinstatement.

MHT Position Open in Youth Services!

Joe Nieves

Joe Nieves was involved in a domestic disturbance at Rawlings. Nieves then became violent and made threats to staff and security. Nievens is suspended for 1 month and is eligible for reinstatement on 09/26/2019.

Congratulations to Chris Rivera! He was recently promoted from an Materials Handling Technician position to a Customer Service Representative at the Lucero Library. Chris has been with the library since September of 2016.

Showers and Free Places to Eat

Pueblo will be getting mobile shower and mobile laundry vans that will serve the homeless community by the end of the year. Until the mobile services are available Cooperative Care will be providing a shuttle service to the gymnasium at the old El Pueblo on Fridays where participants can shower.
