All Pueblo City-County Library District (PCCLD) locations will close to the public beginning at 6 p.m. on Friday, March 13 in order to mitigate the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus).
Effective tonight at 6:00 p.m., Friday, March 13, the Pueblo City-County Library District will temporarily close all library locations to the public and these closures will remain in effect until Monday, March 30.
We've made the difficult decision to cancel all library programs, classes, events, and outreach activities effective March 13 through April 15, 2020. This includes all meeting room bookings.
The 2020 Census Online Questionnaire goes live today, 3/12/2020. PCCLD has established a staff committee to guide our efforts as we provide the public with access to and information about the 2020 Census.
Please join in welcoming Ciara (prounounced Kiera) Kehoe to PCCLD as Youth Services Librarian with a Teen focus! Ciara is relocating to Pueblo from Pennsylvania and will be joining the Youth Services team on Monday, March 16th.
Rich Poll is retiring from PCCLD after 15 years of service. His last day will be Monday, March 9th. We thank Rich for his years of service and appreciate his contributions to the District.
The PCCLD Board of Trustees have adopted the attached "Infectious Disease Pandemic Response Plan." This plan was prepared in response to the current spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) and is an update to other similar documents PCCLD has followed in the past. ALL EMPLOYEES SHOULD READ THE PLAN NOW.
