Effective March 1, 2022, PCCLD is lessening COVID-19 protocols in response to a lower incidence of COVID-19 in our community. We continue to look to authoritative guidance from CDC, CDPHE and PDPHE and will work in the coming days to announce additional changes as applicable.

PCCLD library locations now have a limited supply of free COVID test kits for giveaway at opening time tomorrow, Wednesday, February 23.

Please join in welcoming Brigitta Meyherhofer to PCCLD! Brigitta previously worked at PCCLD a few years ago and is now returning as Librarian/Assistant Branch Manager to serve in the Barkman library. Brigitta holds a Master's degree in Library and Information Science.

PCCLD will distribute KN95 masks to the public beginning at opening times on Wednesday, February 16 and Saturday, February 19. The Saturday distribution is a focused effort to allow people who work business hours to access KN95 masks on a weekend.

Hello everyone, The Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) is a large-scale dental clinic that is held annually in a Colorado community. This year they are coming to Pueblo on September 30th to October 1st. All there services are free.

Brian L. Hendricks has been temporarily suspended from all PCCLD locations. Patron displayed disruptive behavior at the Lamb library and was in violation of several code of conduct violations. Violation of suspension on 03/02/2022 trespassing at Rawlings: Patron instructed to schedule a reinstatement meeting with the security supervisor. Violation at Pueblo West on 04/01/2022 Reinstatement meeting MUST be completed before re-entry into library locations. Eligible for reinstatement on 05/01/2022

Congratulations to Evelyn Lile who was promoted to Program and Outreach Specialist! Evelyn transitioned from the Circulation department to the Barkman library where she is now serving. Congratulations Evelyn!
