This month we are honoring our Customer Service Counts employee and deparment of the month and our wonderful Volunteer of the Month: Jacob Barger, Barkman Branch and Frank Vidana IV. Jacob Barger---Customer Service Counts staff member of the month.

Per Diann's request, IT placed a camera on the roof of Risley Middle school in March of last year to watch the construction of the new branch (special thanks to D60 staff). The camera sat up there the whole year snapping a picture once a day at noon.

CONGRATULATIONS!  We have set a NEW record for summer reading registrations!  At this point, we have 7,109 kids (ages 0-18) registered for Summer Reading!  We have one week left to get those registrations in.

Mr. Walker asked me to share the attached letter the library received from Lieutenant Governor Joe Garcia congratulating the library and thanking the "dedicated and passionate employees of the Pueblo City and County Library District."  Our library is being noticed in the state's capitol.
