I want to thank all of the branch locations who participated in the "Build a Better World" food drive during Summer Reading. The total pounds of food collected was 399 lbs., the equivalent of just over 332 meals for Pueblo families in need. The following is a breakdown by library location.

Congratulations to our Summer Reading grand prize winners! We awarded 7 prizes for youth and 18 for teens. Youth prizes were gift cards to our frequent coupon donors, including Cold Stone, Little Caesar's and the Pueblo Zoo.

Congratulations to Sharon Rice and a warm welcome to baby Edison Micah Graves, born on August 28th, weighing 6 pounds, 13 ounces and measuring 19 inches long!  Mom and baby are doing well. To see a photo of baby Edison Micah, click on the attachment.

Please join us in welcoming Israel Rodriguez to the Facilities team! You may have seen Israel around as he has been on assignment here from a temporary staffing agency. However, Israel has now joined PCCLD as an employee on a part time basis serving as a day porter.  Welcome Israel!
