As Janina Goodwin transitions from her job as Rawlings Library Manager on September 30 (Best wishes to Janina in her future role at the Pikes Peak Library!), we want to let everyone know about some related upcoming changes.
More information resulting from these staffing changes is forthcoming as these individuals step into their new roles.
- The position of Rawlings Library Manager will not be filled at this time.
- Sarah Meador (Circulation/Library @ the Y) will coordinate meeting room scheduling for the Rawlings Library.
- Amy Martin (Reference and Readers Advisory) will manage Rawlings Library PIC schedules and activities.
- Maria Tucker (Special Collections and Museum Services Manager) will oversee Rawlings Library Sunday Public Service Schedules.
- For security matters throughout the district, we have arranged with TNT Security to bring on board a full-time Security Coordinator. Eddie Trujillo has been assigned by TNT to this position effective this week. Many will remember Eddie who earlier worked for TNT as a patrol officer at the Rawlings Library for about two years.
- Rich Poll will begin working 20 hours per week as a desk reference librarian in both the Reference and Readers Advisory and Special Collections Departments. Rich will continue in his current capacity as Collection Development Librarian for 20 hours per week in Technical Services.
