Clarification on Homeless Shelters in Pueblo

The Pueblo Rescue Mission (PRM) Warming Shelter located at 901 9th Street in Pueblo, is open from 7 PM to 8 AM and provides a safe sleeping space for adults age 18 or older. The shelter will remain open through April 30, 2019 (information attached). Families with Children can seek shelter at Posada, 111 N. Union Ave. 719-545-8776. Interested persons must speak to a counselor between 8 AM and 12 PM, and pass a background check. Beds are available on a first come first serve basis. Posada Youth Center is located at 2105 Norman Lane in Pueblo, 719-369-2753. Their mission is to provide services and limited shelter to homeless youth between the ages of 18 - 25 years. PRM is planning to open a permanent homeless shelter for adults at 728 4th Street in Pueblo, which is expected to open November 1, 2019. It is anticipated that the shelter will be open 24/7 and will provide shelter and other services. YWCA provides shelter to women and their children who are victims of domestic abuse. They are located at 801 N. Santa Fe Ave. in Pueblo, 719-545-8195
