Hello, The CLEL Bell Awards Committee for the 2019-2020 season is currently looking for committee members to help choose the next round of CLEL Bell picture book award winners.

Ken Gardner will be leaving PCCLD in mid-March. Ken has been with the library district for over 3 years in the Special Collections department and is leaving the district to pursue a full-time opportunity.

IDEA Con is coming! This awesome celebration of all things nerdy requires help from you - We need your geeky stuff to give out to attendees as door prizes. Posters, books, comics, action figures...it's all good. Please contact me or Brooke Riedeman if you think you have what we need. Thank you!

This year, we had a blast with Debbie Dadey - author of The Bailey School Kids series. Over 1,600 kids read her book, visited Rawlings, and took part in awesome extension activities to foster their love of reading and writing. Please take a look at the attached report for more information!

Daugherty is suspended for three months for being disruptive and refusing to leave when told.
On 03/05/2019 at approximately 2:15 pm Daugherty was in Rawlings library being distruptive. I informed her she was suspended and if she returned again the Pueblo Police would be contacted. Daugherty was threatening and abusive verbally towards me as she left the library property. 

Daugherty was told to leave the Barkman library for being disruptive and was currently under suspension. this occured in March of 2019.

Heggins is suspended for nine months for possession of a controlled substance. Heggins is also trespassed by the Pueblo Police and his notice is on file with the P.D.

Heggins was on Rawlings property on 10/03/2019 in violaton of his suspenion.

Martinez was observed consuming an alcoholic beverage while on library property. Martinez is a repeat offender and is suspended for one month.

Daniel Joe Martinez is reinstated as of 04/23/2019.

Daniel Joe Martinez is suspended for intoxication and alcoholic beverage on Rawlings property. Martinez is a repeat offender and is suspended for 6 months. Martinez is eligible for reinstatement on 10/30/2019.

Daniel Joe Martinez is reinstated as of 01/08/2020.

McKenzie is suspended for one month for threatening staff, harassment, refusing to leave property. His dog he claims is a service dog, but it is not and is aggressive.

McKenzie was on Rawlings property on 05/22/2019 in violation of his suspension. McKenzie is suspended until 06/30/2019.

McKenzie was on Rawlings property on 05/30/2019 in violation of his suspension. McKenzie is suspended for an additional 3 months. McKenzie is eligible for reinstaement on 09/30/2019.

Suspended for 1 month for intoxication and consuming alcoholic beverage on Rawlings library property.

Matthew Hernandez is reinstated as of 04/29/2019.

Suspended for 1 month for fighting, threats, and harassment at Lamb Library.
