Each year PCCLD awards up to four eligible libraries Starlight Awards based on their library's best output of key results from circulations, visits, computer use and program attendance.

Damian Kelly was caught on Rawlings property drinking an alcoholic beverage on 04/02/2019 and his suspension is extended for an additional six months. Kelly will be eligible for reinstatement on 10/02/2019.

Tony Garcia is suspended for 12 months due to public indecency at Lucero library. Garcia is eligible for reinstatement on 03/21/2020.

Nancy Romero was suspended for one month for creating a disturbance at the Rawlings library. Romero will be eligible for reinstatement on 04/19/2019. Nancy Romero is now reinstated as of 04/19/2019.

Congratulations to Elizabeth Moore who has received a promotion to Librarian. Beth has been with the District for 1 1/2 years and earned an MLS degree from Drexel University. Beth will be serving part-time as Librarian at the Lamb branch.

Abigail Finden is leaving the library district and moving back to Minnesota. Abigail has been with the district a little over one year and is currently serving as MHT at the Barkman Branch.

Marlene Sanchez has decided to transition and leave the District after her 13 1/2 year tenure. Marlene has most recently been serving as CSR in the Circulation department.

Dones was engaged in sexual misconduct in violation of library code of conduct. Dones is suspended for 9 months and is eligible for reinstatement on 12/12/2019. This patron has been reinstated.
