Shedding Light on Skin Cancer
Our summer is fully underway and it's finally warm! During the summer months, we need to be especially concerned about protecting our skin from the sun. An estimated one in five Americans will develop skin cancer in their lifetime. While it’s true that fair-skinned people who sunburn easily are at the highest risk, anyone can get skin cancer, no matter their skin tone. Please see the attached information from Cigna that outlines different types of skin cancer and what to look out for.
Farewell to Jeanette
Jeanette Cortez will be leaving PCCLD in July. Jeanette has been with PCCLD for 4 and 1/2 years and most recently is the Senior Accountant in the Finance department.
