Due to inclement weather conditions, the Greenhorn Valley Library is closed today, Saturday, April 16.  I expect it will open again for normal business on Monday.

To issue a replacement card to a minor BOTH the minor AND the financially responsible adult must be present. The CARE/OF adult must provide photo ID, which is a great time to update all account contact information.

Here at the Library District – we have a great benefit – PERA – the Premier Public Retirement Plan! Very few organizations are able to offer Pension Plans in 2016, but the Library District does! As an employee of the Library District, we contribute 8% of our earnings and the Library District contributes to our account as well! The Pueblo Library District also offers a 401(k) addition to the PERA retirement option. Janet Fieldman of Fieldman Financial Services in Pueblo came to talk to us about PERA and Retirement Planning. She provides financial analysis for retirement planning.

Nesbitt celebrated National Library Workers Day by giving employees a recognition gift to grow for Spring.  Thanks to the Nesbitt Committee, we get a chance to celebrate with one another.
