Carlos Angel is suspended from all libraries for threatening a staff member Youth services department.

Jay Pacheco is suspended from all libraries for stealing a cell phone belonging to Elijah Hernandez.

Youth Summer Reading Grand Prize Winners

Almost 5,000 youth ages 5-12 participated in our Summer Reading Program this year. Kids read books, wrote book reviews, and created art to fill in their summer game boards. Grand prize winners received a pack of books, toys, and art supplies tailored to their age level.

Pre-Reader Prize Winners

This year over 1,000 kids ages 0-4 participated in our Summer Reading Program for pre-readers. Based on Every Child Ready to Read practices, this program encouraged the habits that foster early literacy - parents reading, talking, singing, writing and playing with their children.
