We are very pleased to announce a job opening for an additional Customer Service Representative Float! The job description is attached.

Alayna Parker will be leaving the library district and her last day will be tomorrow. Alayna has worked with PCCLD for three years and recently moved into the 16 hour per week Customer Service Float position. We wish Alayna well in her future endeavors.

We will explore various test prep resources to prepare patrons for their GED, Driver’s Ed, SATs, ACTs, specific work fields, ASVAB, etc.

Congratulations to Marcus Bower who has been promoted to Customer Service Representative! Marcus has worked at the Barkman Branch for a little over 2 years as an MHT and has recently received a promotion to Customer Service Representative at the same branch.  Congratulations Marcus!

I recently read a report by the Campaign for Grade Level Reading. (http://gradelevelreading.net/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/SupportingParentSuccess11-17.pdf) This report asserted that parents are the biggest factor for their children's success in reading, in school, and in life.
