Foundation work at the Greenhorn Valley Library is substantially complete, and the building is framed up. The foundation slab has been poured and framing commenced at the St. Charles Mesa Library. The East Side Library foundation footings are finished and slab pouring is imminent there. Work also continues on networking and technology procurements (Charles Hutchins is overseeing this), furniture selection and purchase (Amy Martin), shelving and building appliances (Al Perea), opening-day collections including public-use computers and tablets (Teresa Valenti), signage (Diann Logie) and staffing (Michael Cox).
