PCCLD Steering Committee (See latest notes and Substitute Procedures below.)
Appointed by the Executive Director, PCCLD’s Steering Committee is an employee- group that convenes monthly with the Executive Director to discuss district policies, practices, and employee concerns. It is a collaborative body with representatives from frontline staff throughout the organization. The goal of the committee is to gather and sift through feedback from all sources, consider important issues, represent the best interests of the whole district and provide 360-degree communication.
The Policy Steering Committee is responsible for:
1. Helping to identify desirable new policies and practices, or current policies and practices in need of review
2. Provide input on important district initiatives, such as budgeting and planning
3. Facilitating communication and mutual understanding among all employees
