Our hardworking YS staff have successfully applied for several grants already this year - you may have heard that we successfully applied to be an Imagination Chapter, and that we recently got an ALA grant to be part of the Great Stories Club. Just last month, we applied for the Curiosity Creates Grant - and were one of 79 libraries nationwide to receive it!
The Curiosity Creates Grant was made possible by a donation to the ALSC from Disney to support exploration and discovery for children ages 6-14. We will be using this grant to fund a program series for school-age children where they can explore music, poetry, dance and other art forms. Stay tuned for more news on this exciting program!
