It has been an exciting and busy summer at PCCLD! Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work and dedication throughout Summer Reading!
Update - Adult Summer Reading Registration Challenge
As of 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, the report showed a total of 1,530 adult registrations! With just two weeks left of Summer Reading, we have the potential to reach our 2015 record high of 2,023 adult registrations. We are 74% of the way there! For the next two weeks, let’s all put in a little extra effort and accomplish this together!
TIPS TO INCREASE REGISTRATION
-Encourage every adult to register when they are registering their children! This is an easy way since these adults are already at the library.
-Designate a staff member to take two minutes at the beginning or end of every adult program to pass out registration slips to patrons and collect from every person in attendance. It is a great incentive to sign-up on the spot because you can give patrons their $5 Books Again gift certificate right then!
