It's winter outside, but in Youth Services we always have summer on our minds! We had a truly excellent summer in 2018, and I wanted to share some highlights with you. (Please consult the attached report for more details.)
*We achieved five-year record highs in program attendance for youth and adults. Youth program attendance increased 53%.
*Districts 60 and 70 worked with us to register all students and provide them program information and reading logs before they left school.
*The District presented some very successful programs - branch kickoffs, the Kids Parade, the Rawlings Kickoff and IDEA Con, for example.
*We expanded Books in the Park to run five days a week, and achieved a 34% increase in attendance!
