Hi everyone! Summer is off to a great start - and I wanted to share some highlights of my week with you. Do you have a summer highlight? Please share it in the comments!
Lucero - I attended the Cooking Matters program at Lucero with my daughter, and had a great time! Kids got to help make two simple recipes and then we all got to taste them. My daughter loved the apple salad.
Lamb - At Art Station Titan, tweens blasted off to explore Saturn's largest moon with a remote presenter from the Denver Museum of Nature and Science. Once they learned that Titan was primarily composed of methane (which comes from cow farts here on Earth) it was non-stop cow fart jokes for the rest of the program. Lots of laughter, and lots of learning! You can see the tweens in a more serious mood below.
Giodone - Teens made glitter tattoos. See the picture below!
The Y - Tweens made edible bridges. See a picture below!
Books in the Park - BIP got off to great start, and I was excited to be a big part of it this first week. Our new BIP team, Jean and Denise, led games, yoga and storytimes for visitors.
