Staffing Changes and New Faces!

There have been some staffing changes, promotions, and a few new faces here at PCCLD over the past few months!

We are very pleased to welcome the following new staff to PCCLD!

Susanna Johnson - Susanna has recently returned to the US from Sulaimani, Kurdistan, Iraq where she served for four years as Educator and Acting Deputy Director of the Academic Preparatory Program at the American University of Iraq. Susanna holds a Master’s degree in Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism. Susanna hails from Minnesota and has recently relocated to Pueblo. She joins PCCLD as Adult Literacy Administrator in the RRA department. Brooke Riedemann – Brooke holds a Master’s degree in Library Science and a Bachelor’s degree in English. Brooke comes to PCCLD from Pikes Peak Library system where she worked as a Teen Librarian. Brooke is our newest addition to the Youth Services department as Teen Librarian. Kevin Sanchez – Kevin has recently relocated to Pueblo from the Denver area where he attended and was employed by Red Rocks Community College. Kevin joins PCCLD as Day Porter in the Facilities department. Patricia Sanchez - Patricia holds an Associate’s degree in Accounting and comes to the District from her most recent role as Accounting Technician at the Colorado State Fair. We welcome Patricia to the Finance department as part-time Accounting Specialist. Jennifer Tozer – Jennifer holds a Master’s in Library Science and a Bachelor’s degree in Philosophy. Jennifer has most recently held a position as Program Manager at Stem International and joins PCCLD as part-time Librarian at the Lamb branch. Rick Trujillo – Rick is an experienced facilities and maintenance technician with over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry. Rick comes aboard as Facilities Technician in the Facilities department. Henry Prein – Henry has been employed as a Security Officer II at Parkview Hospital for 7 years and recently joins PCCLD as part-time Security Officer in the evenings at the Rawlings branch. Adrienne Berger promoted to Customer Service Representative at Barkman. Casey Aranda promoted to Facilities Specialist as part of the Facilities team. Toni Arrellano promoted to Materials Handling Technician at Pueblo West. Brigitta Lockman promoted to Program and Outreach Coordinator at Barkman. Chris Currey promoted to Lead IT Technician in the IT department. Jaclyn Baros has moved to CSR Float. Sharon Rice promoted to Makerspace Educator in the RRA department. Katherine MacLeod promoted to Program and Outreach Coordinator at Greenhorn Valley. Kimberly Sewell moves to the Lamb Branch as Program and Outreach Coordinator. Linda Reifschneider moves to Substitute at Greenhorn Valley. PCCLD is fortunate to have so many dedicated and accomplished staff members- new and current! Welcome and Congratulations!
