Solidarity Against Violence

Author: Sherri.Baca / Date:
I want to express sincere sadness and solidarity against the unacceptable violence shown in the mass shooting in Colorado Springs over the weekend. As a public library, we strive to provide inclusive and safe spaces for the LGBTQ+ community, and all persons, in our libraries. It is my hope that this inclusion and safety is provided in all spaces in our community, state, nation and world. If anyone needs support, PCCLD's Employee Assistance Program is available at www.ProfileEAP.org and resources are spinning up to help those impacted such as https://www.koaa.com/news/covering-colorado/how-to-help-community-members-start-fundraisers-to-help-victims-of-club-q-shooting should anyone want to contribute to those in need.
