How should you respond if you see, or think you see a life threatening situation?
First, protect your own safety. (Remember Run, Hide, Fight).
Next, call 911 and follow the instructions of first responders.
If you are able to yell to a co-worker to call security while you dial 911, do so. Following actions may include calling PCCLD security then call a library manager. Keep important emergency numbers handy in your cell phone so you can quickly make these calls after you are in a secure place.
