PCCLD Moves to Lessened Restrictions on Feb 16

Author: Sherri.Baca / Date:
Effective Tuesday, February 16, PCCLD will move to Phase 4 of our reopening plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Pueblo County has recently moved to a less restrictive Blue status on the COVID-19 dial (https://covid19.colorado.gov/covid-19-dial) due to improved COVID numbers. This means that the library district can lessen restrictions as well. The changes happening on Feb 16 include: * Public spaces and office spaces can increase to 50% capacity * The time limit to be in library buildings increases to 2 hours daily per patron at each library location (this includes 1 hr computer sessions with the option for a 1 hr extension) * Quarantining of library materials is discontinued Training regarding Phase 4 will be provided at Staff Day on Feb 15. Your manager is in the loop on these changes and can answer your questions as well. PCCLD will continue to adjust as conditions of the virus dictate. We will loosen or restrict library activities as necessary. COMING SOON: More to come on reopening meeting rooms and study rooms. Thank you to everyone for your important contribution in maintaining a safe environment and for providing exceptional library services to our community. You make a difference!
