Author: derrick.mason / Date:
Hello Everyone. As the first Pueblo Mini Maker Faire approaches, there are numerous opportunities for you to get involved with the event. We have opportunities for Makers, Volunteers, Judges and Presenters. For your participation, you will receive a free ticket to the Mini Maker Faire.

Friday night, Oct. 27, 5:00 p.m.-10:00 p.m., will kick off the public part of the events, with a Fire and Lights show featuring emergent technologies and technological phenomena that will delight and engage the curious.

Saturday, Oct. 28, 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. will be the main event, featuring hundreds of Makers, who will be providing demonstrations and interactive exhibits. Special events, showcases and challenges will be happening throughout the weekend highlighting Making and Makers in our community.

Visit https://pueblo.makerfaire.com for an overview of the event.

Makers

PCCLD Staff can sign up for a Maker Exhibit on Saturday 10/28. This would not be one single booth, rather multiple branches and departments can sign up for their own booths to conduct hands-on activities. Think Crafts, Art and STEM. There is no cost to PCCLD for these booths. If you would like to use some of the Idea Factory equipment in your activity, let me know. As part of the PMMF Committee, I will be involved in the daily operations of the Faire and unable to conduct any activities myself. This is a great opportunity to outreach with the public and promote your upcoming programs.

Complete details and registration form can be found at the link below.
