It is pleasing to announce that PCCLD has been designated as a Five Star Library. Library Journal has designated Star Libraries in the United States for a number of years and PCCLD has received the prestigious recognition now for five consecutive years. 2020 is notable because it is our highest rating ever! Congratulations to each of you who helped us achieve this notable accomplishment. The Star Library rating is a data-driven recognition of community engagement and PCCLD is one of only 85 libraries in the United States to be selected as a Five Star Library from among 5,608 libraries from across the nation qualified to be rated in 2020. The Star Library index derives from data for calendar year 2019 as gathered and released by the Institute for Museum and Library Services.
