As you may recall, PCCLD permanently closed a number of satellite libraries last spring. Just recently we also closed the Risley, Rye and Craver Satellites in preparation for the opening of the new libraries. The books at these locations have been donated to the school libraries and the associated records will soon be removed from Sirsi. These locations are still listed in Sirsi, but will be removed soon. In the meantime, any holds that have been placed for pickup at these locations will be redirected to Rawlings.
The two remaining satellites at Beulah School of Natural Sciences and Avondale Elementary will continue to operate as service points for these two more remote communities. The Beulah Satellite will serve as an extension of the Greenhorn Valley Library and the Avondale Satellite as an extension of the Saint Charles Mesa Library. In addition to being open during all school hours, these locations will be staffed during the following times:
Beulah: Wednesdays 2-6 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m.- Noon
Avondale: Wednesdays 3-7 p.m. and Fridays 8 a.m.-Noon
