We continue to make progress in getting the new libraries ready to open to the public. Amy Martin, the Greenhorn Valley Librarian, and Kayci Barnett, the Giodone Librarian, and their new staff members are working alongside contractors, vendors and teams from Technical Services, Facilities and IT.
We expect to hold a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the Greenhorn Valley Library at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12. A similar ribbon-cutting ceremony is scheduled for the Giodone Library at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 18.
