Library district extends public closure to May 3

Author: Ann.Boyden / Date:
PUEBLO, Colo. – Pueblo City-County Library District is extending its closure of library locations to the public through to May 3. This decision comes as a commitment to the greater good of maintaining safe social distancing practices.
As part of the district’s continued commitment to serve the Pueblo community, the library’s website page, The Library @ Home is the digital hub for patrons to access virtual programming, expanded e-resources, at-home learning tools for parents and students, online research tools, and more. The Library @ Home can be accessed by going to www.pueblolibrary.org/thelibraryathome.
All digital services are available to Pueblo County residents who have a current PCCLD library card. For individuals who do not have a card, they can get an immediate electronic card at www.pueblolibrary.org via the link “Get a library card.” This immediate card will allow patrons to access the full array of online library services.
PCCLD is continuing to follow mandates from Gov. Jared Polis, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment and Pueblo Department of Public Health and Environment to guide the protection of patrons, staff and overall community.
