Please see attached revised schedule.

Colorado is currently in Phase 1B.2 and will move to Phase 1B.3 on Friday, March 5th. Although library workers have not specifically been named as a group, we have received confirmation from the Colorado Department of Health that library workers could likely be included in the Phase 1B.4 vaccine rollout which is scheduled sometime in March. Guidance on the vaccine can change quickly! We are in close contact with the Pueblo Department of Health and Environment and will work to keep you informed as soon as we receive updated information.

Groups who will be eligible in Phase 1B.3 on Friday, March 5th are:
  • People age 60 and older
  • Frontline essential workers in grocery and agriculture
  • People 16-59 with 2 or more high risk conditions (including cancer, chronic kidney disease, COPD, diabetes mellitus (types 1 and 2), down syndrome, specific heart disease, obesity, pregnancy, sickle cell disease, solid organ transplant, individuals with disabilities who require direct care in their home and people with disabilities that prevent them from wearing masks.)

If you belong to one of these groups, you can begin to register to receive the Covid-19 vaccine on Friday, March 5th. You can register and find out further information at these following locations:

NOTE: Vaccine supplies are somewhat limited, however, Governor Polis announced yesterday, March 2nd, that the state currently is receiving around 260,000 doses per week.  This is expected to nearly double by early April to over 400,000 doses per week.  The state is looking to set up large vaccine clinics around CO to distribute the doses.  Pueblo is on their list.

Most vaccine sites require you to schedule an appointment online or by phone. Appointments can be very hard to get, as available time slots are booked quickly, and you may experience long wait times on the phone. If a time slot is not available, you may be put on the site’s waiting list. Once you have a confirmed appointment, public health officials ask that you don’t schedule or confirm another with any other provider so that vaccine appointments stay open for others.
