Committee members will serve from May 2018 - February 2019. This year, we are asking committee members to commit to two in-person meetings on May 12 and December 8, 2018, as well as monthly virtual meetings. Please review the full list of requirements, if you are interested in applying.
This is a phenomenal opportunity to delve into newly published picture books, explore the five ECRR practices, and experience the thrill of being on a book award committee! We are building a powerful resource for librarians, teachers, and families all across the country, and gaining more notice and interest each year. You could be a part of this and help spread the word about early literacy even wider. This is a wonderful way to share your passion for children's literature and early literacy, connect with library professionals from multiple library districts, and build your resume.
