I want to thank all of the branch locations who participated in the "Build a Better World" food drive during Summer Reading. The total pounds of food collected was 399 lbs., the equivalent of just over 332 meals for Pueblo families in need. The following is a breakdown by library location.
Barkman Branch – 161 lbs.
Giodone Branch – 18 lbs.
Lamb Branch – 38 lb.s
Pueblo West Branch – 60 lbs.
Rawlings Branch – 122 lbs.
Thanks again everyone for making it a huge success and another big thank you to Scott Trenary and the staff at the Pueblo Care and Share Food Bank who took time out of their day to help deliver and pick up the donation barrels.
