Here is an update on the Adult Summer Reading Registration Challenge: WE ARE AMAZING! All the hard work and our efforts are really (I mean REALLY) paying off.
At 3:15 today, the reporting showed we have a total of 828 adult registrations...a whopping 66% increase over last year!!! With this being only the second week of Summer Reading, we have the potential to get 1,000 registrations! Let's go for it! Here's a quick breakdown of where all the libraries are in the challenge:
#1 Pueblo West Library, 223 registrations, 487% INCREASE (OMG)!!!!
#2 Library @ the Y, 48 registrations, 220% INCREASE (another OMG)!!!!
#3 Avondale Satellite, 3 registrations, 50% increase
#4 Barkman, 135 registrations, 29% increase
#5 Lamb, 95 registrations, 20% increase goal is 130 registrations
#6 Rawlings, 136 registrations, 20% increase goal is 269 registrations
#7 Books in the Park, 0 registrations, 20% increase goal is 7 registrations
New Libraries:
#1 Giodone, 94 registrations
#2 Greenhorn Valley, 54 registrations
#3 Lucero, 40 registrations
We still have several weeks to go, so these numbers can still change. There's still time to catch Pueblo West and Giodone!!! Good luck and go forth with gusto! Pizza parties and bragging rights are on the line!
