June 1-Aug. 12
Summer Reading begins next week!
Adult Summer Reading Registration Challenge:
Our goal is to increase adult registration by 20%. Community Relations will throw a PIZZA PARTY for the library with the highest percent increase of registrations over last year. If Rawlings is the winner, we'll treat all public service departments. You can see below how many registrations there were at each location last year, and what a 20% increase is. Let's get adults reading this summer!
How can we increase registration?
-Encourage every adult to sign up when they are registering their children! This is an easy way to increase our registrations since these adults are already at the library.
-Designate a person who will be working during any adult program, to take two minutes at the beginning or end to stop in the room and pass out registration slips and collect from every person in attendance. Another easy way to reach adult who are already at the library!

Please get the word out and let people know about the amazing things we have planned for the summer and get them reading, registered and at programs. Thank you to everyone for all of your hard work in putting together an outstanding program selection! I hope you are excited to see our results!
