The ALA just announced the winners of its various youth media awards! These are the Newbery, Caldecott and Printz awards, among others - great books to recommend to patrons and relatives!
Newbery Medal (fiction for youth) - “The Girl Who Drank the Moon” by Kelly Barnhill, is the 2017 Newbery Medal winner.
